BJP Puducherry unit president V. P. Ramalingam filed nomination papers in Raj Bhavan Assembly constituency on Monday. He was accompanied by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and BJP Tamil Nadu unit vice-president Khushbu Sundar. Party workers took out a procession before Mr. Ramalingam filed the papers at Mairie Building (Pondicherry Municipality office). The Raj Bhavan constituency was contested by the BJP’s ally, the All India N. R. Congress in the 2021 Assembly polls.
